Hello! I have information on Isak Halvorsen (3 Oct 1854), who emigrated to the United States in 1871 from Gjerpen. He settled in Forest City Iowa. He was my great grandfather. I also have a 3rd cousin who has more information on his sister, Anne Halvorsdatter, who also emigrated, I think around 1866, also settling in Iowa. Their parents were Halvor Olsen (born 5 Feb 1823) and Anne Amundsdatter (born 23 June 1820) Oterholt faqrm.

I also have information on Hellick Gulliksen, born 1 14 1846m Flesburg, Letmolia farm and Marit Kittelsdatter, born 1 14 1849, Flesberg, Bekjorden farm. Hellick's parents were Gullik Helliksen (1827) and Kari Gullicksdatter (1823). Marit's parents were Kittel Olsen (1816) and Berit Oldsdatter (1823). Hellick and Marit are also my great grandparents and settled in Iowa, as well.
